I started training with Carlos at the end of 2017 by doing strength & fit camps in an attempt to gain some muscle mass, after spending the previous 12 months mainly cardio training for my running targets. Not only have I gained, and continue to gain, muscle mass I have also increased my overall fitness to a point where I knocked 15 minutes off my previous half marathon personal best and developed a better psychological outlook on certain situations all from watching his YouTube videos. The group sessions are tough, but also rewarding and are always highly motivating with encouragement from Carlos and the others in the group. Carlos is always willing to offer hints and tips as well as making online videos upon requests. You only have to look at the transformation wall at Jetts Gym to see the progress made by his clients. His vast knowledge of psychology, nutrition and fitness is second to none and I would recommend Carlos to anyone looking to improve themselves both physically and mentally.

I had tried a couple of failed personal trainers before, and i had given up. My brother suggested i see carlos, I was sceptical at first and did not expect much. However, His knowledge and personalised training schedule was very different to before and the results began to show within 4 weeks. I’ve been very impressed with his vast knowledge, experience and flexibility, and would highly recommend him. He really is a master trainer.

I started training with Carlos after having two children, I was feeling very unhappy with the weight I had gained. Initially, I felt really nervous but Carlos has been friendly, reassuring and professional from day one and made me feel very welcome and at ease. I really enjoy my PT sessions now and feel amazing seeing results every week, so far I have lost over 4 stone and receive so many compliments on my amazing transformation. I am a much healthier, fitter and happier version of myself due to Carlos' expertise in coaching and training, my lifestyle has totally changed for the better, I have much more energy to spend time with my children and the weight loss and exercise has also helped massively in reducing back pain that I have suffered with since my pregnancy!

High-Intensity Interval Training

After getting into a bit of a rut with my own training, some friends suggested I come and try Carlos’s HIIT sessions. Carlos really helps us to push ourselves and improve with varied and interesting sessions. He’s always on hand with encouragement and tips to improve posture and technique, and engenders a team atmosphere in the group. Since joining the group I’ve lost weight and increased my strength and stamina!

I started visiting gym, because I wanted to be fit and work on my confidence. It's been 17 months since I joined Jetts Erdington and started to do fit camp and strength camp. It’s incredible how my body has changed. I gained muscles and regular exercising has improved the way I hold my body and it reduced my back pain. I also gained strength in my legs and my arms. I generally feel stronger, fitter, healthier and I’m more confident than I have ever been before . It’s all because of my trainer Carlos who has a friendly nature coupled with a real focus on training and is determined to help you achieve your goals. He is energetic, knowledgeable, professional, he has always enthusiastic, positive approach and actually cares about peoples' journey and progress. This lifestyle has taught me discipline, passion and amongst other things it has brought many amazing people into my life.

I started going to the gym quite a few years ago now, when I first started I didnt really know what I was doing. Felt like I was just going through the motions. Then I met Carlos in the gym and we had a brief chat about what I was trying to achieve. After the chat I decided to have PT sessions with him, the sessions were good but tough. He goes into alot of depth when explaining what we're doing and why. As a result my gym work increased and my body shape was changing into what I wanted it to be. With varied exercises it never got boring but was always tough and on the limit. This has led me to lead a healthy happy lifestyle, Carlos has made the gym part of my lifestyle now. I'm getting older but I'm feeling better than ever.

PRE CONTEST TRAINING

I started having personal training sessions with Carlos once a week and had seen his group sessions which looked really interesting. I decided to give them a try, really enjoyed it and now do three Fit Camps a week. I feel it has changed me, as I have become fitter, stronger and am now able to do things I never thought I could. The coaching we receive from Carlos is great, with lots of support and encouragement. He knows exactly how and when to push us to achieve our goals!

SPORTS REHABILITATION

I started going to the gym as I knew I was over weight and had problems walking and running. This was when I decided to do something about it, this was when I was introduced to Carlos the trainer by Ben venables. So I joined the gym and was going 5 days a week and doing a 1 hour but felt I was seeing results so I approached carlos and started doing 1 to 1 session 1 hour a week. This was when I was starting to see results I was losing on average 3lbs a week, I was getting weighted every week as carlos was making sure I wasn't loosing for on my gole to get to 10 stone. My walking improved and my running was improving as well. Within 7 months I has lost close to 5 stone. I felt better within my self, I felt so lighter, slept better. 1 to 1 session with Carlos has been the best way to improve my confidence and also getting fitter and stronger.

Carlos has always been friendly but also very professional. He’s always been respectful and very conscious of personal space. He is obviously passionate about his job and is reflected in how he approaches training his clients. He always wants all of his clients to reach their realistic targets. How has the training and coaching impacted my life? If I was not training with Carlos, I doubt I would be going to the gym at all due to lack of drive on my part and I would probably try to lose weight on fad diets. I feel fit and so encourage my children to keep fit too now.

I started with Carlos back in January 19 after deciding to do something about my weight after going through a tough breakup. My main goal was to lose 3 stone by August 19 as I was a bridesmaid for my best friends wedding and with Carlos help and support I managed to reach my goal it made me so much more confident and happier and my self esteem has really grown and my life has improved because of it. Carlos is a great trainer and keeps you on track. He always keeps in contact to make sure your sticking to your plans in order to reach your goals without him I wouldn’t of lost the weight and can’t thank him enough for his dedication to my fitness and wellbeing. He helped me get back on my feet and helped me get back to feeling like myself again.
